I keep bringing it up but here goes again...Oil and Gold have a strange synergy.They make a great tandem hedge play against the overall market.Do a news search on Yahoo for SWC and ABX if you want some diversity.pm stocks are soimilar to oil in this way: The price to get your commodity to market is fairly stable.When the commodity(oil or gold) goes up, profits are leveraged dramatically.Sort of like drillers and day rates.
