There are those who choose their tribe for reasons involving critical thinking. As I did the counter culture in the 60s' and the Democratic party.

Then there are those who's tribe they belong to not involving any critical thinking like most Republicans.

I am a liberal Democrat because 50 years of study has shown me that is where the humanity lies based on critical thinking.

I have never even thought about joining the Republican party for the same reason. They have never shown any interest in critical thinking or humanity.

It is a difference with a distinction..
