That normal rainfall is mostly up in the mountains. The island was hammered for really 2 days with lightening and rain... sounded like rocket and mortar attack.

The north shore, Hana Lei through Tunnels, was decimated by the runoff. Because of the septic tanks most, if not all, of the beaches are no go zones.

It’s the Emerald island for a reason.
