I eat tomatoes and cucumber, but also buy store vegetable juice that I add water to that reduces the sodium and increases my fluid intake. Plain water for me is bland.

I also eat lots of peppers and spinach. Something I don't buy is lettuce, simply because it doesn't have much nutritional value and other leafy vegetables are better.

Garlic and onions are also good and use them often.

Unfortunately, I had to give up grapefruit, because I take a statin.
