There are exceptions for everything, but bad dogs are almost always the result of bad owners that haven't socialized them or intentionally made them aggressive.

I kind of agree with your statement. Might be "nut cases", might be history. With my dog I think it's history. Harvey (Chi/Pug) has taken victims. Men's feet. One strange example is a friend to was down on the floor playing with Harvey. Harvey was having a great time. Then my friend shifted his feet and Harvey went in. In all, he has victimized feet five times and drawn blood once (even though he is orthodontically challenged). Hence, the discreet "beware of dog" sign on my deck gate.
