You guys have sure spent a lot of time on where Mueller's questions came from. Michael Schmidt was on Morning Joe. He was very careful with his wording re the source and kept pulling panelists back from speculation.

To the best of my recollection, he repeatedly said that the list came from meetings between the Trump team and Mueller team, not a list of questions presented by the Mueller team. Someone on the Trump team scribbled them down after the meeting. The NYT got the list from "someone near the Trump legal team." Per the ensuing discussion, the "questions" are not questions but rather topics to be questioned.

What the hell do you think just happened?

I don't think some mysterious guy just dropped the transcripts in that reporters lap and vanished into the crowd. The reporter knew the person who leaked the information. And was satisfied that the person was in a position to have the information in question. That is how this works.
