<Wilf Corrigan bought 50000 shares in the open market at 23.>

I think it should be 100,000 :

Similarly, LSI Logic Chairman and CEO Wilfred J. Corrigan bought
100,000 shares of his company in November for about $23 a share.
Milpitas-based LSI's stock, which closed Thursday at $19.94, has
tumbled from a May peak of $46.50.

''It was a good deal,'' Corrigan says through an LSI executive. ''And
if you look long-term, everything's going to be fine.'' Corrigan took
similar open-market positions in 1989 and 1990, when the company's
stock was worth a fraction of its current value.
