I don't know anyone who thinks the Kushners have a chance of keeping their equity in 666 Fifth Avenue. The best they're going to do is have someone take their place in 666 prior to foreclosure, with the only payment the Kushners ever receive being a later percentage earn-out if the project return exceeds certain levels. For PR purposes they might try to spin that as "bringing in a new partner" rather than "walking away without their equity" even though the Kushners would have zero management control after that transaction.
