The key point is that it was totally immaterial in comparison to the ad campaigns being run by the candidates (and those ads didn't work, either). That's an important point (even if it was 100 times as big as suggested by the data you posted it would still be relatively small). But I think "its just propaganda" is even more important. Its people saying things, not shooting people, not taking control of election computers and changing the results, not blackmailing candidates not to run or to sabotage their own campaigns. Its words and pictures. But some people react to it like its the end of democracy in the US.
