That too. But there were lots of other sources of lead poisoning than that.

But the use of lead in everything from paint to gasoline cannot be ignored. Not to mention fishing weights, weights in windows, shotgun shells, electronics and just about everything else. The amount of lead in the environment from duck hunters was staggering. And seeped into fish and other wildlife. In the pre-Bondo days, lead was commonly used to fix the bodywork on cars.
