>>HP branded notebook Zip drives for Omnibook in stock for $265.<<

Joon -

How interesting that the first place this HP notebook Zip drive shows up is on the NEC Direct site.

I wonder if NEC is manufacturing it.

Cool Joon, "...The Notebook Zip drive is 40% faster than the SCSI and ATAPI versions of Zip. It's designed specifically for the Omnibook so it's ready for the bumps and bruises a notebook usually gets. The Notebook Zip uses low power mode to conserve precious notebook battery life..."

While the tick by tick watchers are not too happy right now, i am very optimistic about iomega's future. With about 12 million units sold, Zip has become The Standard.
