In fact the big mystery of the current debacle is why, if values are so deflated has AMAT not bought itself small eqips cheap. Either the values are not that deflated, or the small co's like MTSN and SVA are holding out for better days and excuze the pun Bigger Bucks, or they will very soon. And when they do it will have the effect of revaluing sector. As u know I have said all along that capex will not drop because demand for capital goods increases when efficencies are need to reduce cost. Monday was the opportunity of life... Unfortunately I got a little greedy at $26 and waited for $25. It never came. I ended up buying at $27.5 which has me $ cost ave at around 30. My guess is that it's onwards and upwards from here. My guess is that tommorrow's price is still a good price to get in if you're not. My guess is the institutions will start to bet big on AMAT's earnings now they've had a look at capex's new horizon. My guess is AMAT goes on a shopping spree - why the hell not. For who? Your guess is good as mine. But I got myself some MTSN 7.5s today and I'm looking around for other ideas.
