That's the problem. It isn't clear that is the case. Like the DOJ, specifically the FBI. It looks like part of the reason why Comey went public with the stuff about Hillary was because there were members of the NY FBI who were leaking information about the investigation. One of the recipients of the leaks was Rudy Giuliani, as he proudly announced. And it looks like those leaks and Comey's attempts to get in front of them were factors in Hillary's loss to Trump. Claiming that the DOJ is somehow under the thrall of Hillary is ludicrous. As far as the intelligence community goes, I am far from a fan of the IC as it exists in this country. They have a lot of faults, but partisanship is not one of them. To believe this would mean that the IC and foreign services of many of our closest allies are willing to damage their own countries' interests to support the internal politics of our country is just plain nuts.

No, the reality is that Trump is a dishonest madman, criminal, pathologicaL liar and trying to undermine our country and the rule of law, and the Republicans are helping him.

History will not be kind to Trump or the Republicans if Trump doesn't get us all killed first and we have a history.

What is amazing to me is that the purportedly progressive left cannot condemn what clearly was an illegal attempt to unseat Trump using the intelligence community and the DOJ.

What is amazing to me is that the left cannot accept the fact that the issue is at its core non-partisan. If Hillary, whom I detest, had been subjected to what Trump has been put through, I would stand with Hillary.

What is amazing to me is that the left does not understand that the matter has nothing to do with personalities, but with principles.
