You might want to do the opposite of what I often do in situations such as you describe... after sufficient time "in the penalty box" for whatever reason, I ask myself the same questions you do... then I often sell half (KHC in this case) and deploy the proceeds into both PEP and CLX (in this case... in my cases, the action was similar but the company tickers may or may not involve actual stocks I own or used to own, etc.... <grin>... sometimes it's a genius move... most times it doesn't really change much unless still adding diversification to a PF still in accumulation phase....
