Gregory,

There is a lot of money sitting on the sidelines with no where good to go except equities. The market was spooked by the SEA problems back on Oct 27. It was further spooked by the annual bad christmas " retail angst and the BS about AMD and CYRX. The worst of the Asian problems are being dealt with now and we have Intel's report on the impact to their quarterly due to the SEA problems. The bearish sentiment was due to an overly emotional reaction to these events.
We will be getting the facts out about the quarter in the next week or so and I expect that it will quell the false pessimism that peaked in December.

US Bonds have been boosted by these SEA fears. The world governments have decided to intervene in the SEA crisis and they will do whatever is neccessary to make sure that they are successful.
When people become convinced of this they will reinvest in equities.
The process is already underway but it will take sometime.

That is as much as I am willing to say now...

Sorry you missed out on the rally.
