a 44% decline in Qualcomm revenues

Facts are quite important when it comes to investing, especially understanding what the facts mean. In this case, revenues did not decline by 44%, but revenues in a particular segment declined by 44%. So the assumptions here are flawed, to say the least. Plus, a decline is no less of a decline because if came from particular customers - especially if those are your biggest customers.

The more accurate measure would be shipments in total bits, rather than in memory chips themselves, because some additional profit accrues from the sale of higher capacity memory chips.

This is not accurate at all, because of increased density and price declines. Total bits is pretty meaningless with regard to measuring demand of a product which is sold by the chip and not by the bit.

"...consistent efforts of mainly one participant to denigrate many other constructive comments..."

You do have a stalker, that's for sure. I believe the mantra is, "Let no post go uncriticized."

I suppose it is sort of a compliment, really, to be so sought after, heh?
