facts are irrelevant to that clown. He was given a job to do and facts aren't part of it.

Here is the low down on Giulianni. He originally lost the Mayoral election to David Dinkins. But race wars and riots developed in NYC between African Americans and Orthodox Jews in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and African Americans and Koreans, in particular, a Korean grocer in Brooklyn, whose store was boycotted because he was not friendly. It should be pointed out in defense of the Korean that he did not speak English. So, in the next election against Dinkins, who was African American, Giuliani won.
I liked Dinkins basically because I was working for the NYC Board of ED at the time, as a math teacher in HS, and he completely sold out to the teachers, giving us a 25% raise. The garbage men ( Sanitation workers) and Pigs (Police officers) we're upset because they got small raises. Dinkins did this because he originally was a math Ed major in grad school but couldn't keep up. So, he became a whore, or a Lawyer. But he always loved the teaching profession. Giuliani was a cheap SOB, but cleaned the city up of homelessness. One thing that Giuliani did that I liked was right after 9/11 he initiated all these workshops at Yankee Stadium and other venues to make sure Muslims in NYC were not discriminated against. The goal was to educate New Yorkers as to who was responsible for the terroist attacks and to protect the Muslim communities in NYC.
Giuliani was always a dick, a fuckin asshole and hard hat. He stood strong during and after 9/11, but it was really the people of NYC who stood strong. We can endure just about anything. We are tough and never back down. But outside of the Wall Street Dicks, we are fair. I only mention this because Giuliani ended up getting more credit than he deserved.
