Cohen was enriching himself based on his connection to Trump. What are you now suggesting, guilt by association? If that was the law of the land, then everyone 80% of Americans would be in jail, because we know someone who committed a crime. Fortunately, that is not the way our justice system works. You will not be held accountable for the crimes of your neighbor, just because you knew him. And if you are unfortunate enough to hire a lawyer who is a criminal, then you will not be sent to jail just because he is a criminal. You are falling into the biased patterns of thinking that the liberals have turned into an art.
