Derek, I agree that the uncluttered interface and the quality of the threads has reached a critical mass. Good response, good content, absence of ads jumping at you all the time - they have set the bar very high for any competitors. I wouldn't blame them in the least for selling, as I am sure that their effort is enormous and that there are a number of organizations out there that could see real dollar signs about getting SI. As the net gets faster though, I think there will be plenty of additional opportunities for these guys to even take ads. That comment about them being "unfundable" sounds more like sour grapes to me. I think they should be congratulated for the great job they have done, and respected for their vision and desire to do things their way.
