<..I don't think you get it. You are missing something.. People Skills? You can still get your point across and be Diplomatic at the same time. At least the people at the Top can...>

Ray, I have excellent people skills and often use them. And I almost ALWAYS begin an interaction with someone assuming they are warranted. But I also know well the need to occasionally take off the gloves on SI, and do so in the defense/support of truth.

Since my first weeks of posting on SI (much of which was on the Amati thread that you were a prominent "regular" in), my honesty and integrity were challenged - simply because I queried of and commented on, in a polite and respectful manner, the potential downsides of AMTX.

When my motives and character were attacked, never once did you step in, in support of my right (and the VALUE to the whole THREAD) in bringing these issues up. The few who did so were equally attacked in typical Amati fashion as "shorters", "liers", etc.

I WELCOME you to post here a SINGLE url where you stepped in to support the right of a poster to have a contrary opinion on Amati. Or to chastise the lack of "people skills" on the part of your Amati "brethren" that you so nobly defend now. Suspicious that your noble and honorable principles are apparently not found in support of "justice" if not on your "side".

Your principles are worthy but your words ring hollow to me.

<..Do as you wish. Just call em names and treat em like dirt. They will respect you for that...>

I never use profanity, and when someone is posting such blatantly disingenuous spin, there is very little room to do otherwise than call a blowhard a blowhard. As I already pointed out to you (discussing this very issue on the Amati thread recently), I would respect your lofty rules of discussion more if your singular critique of me was not so obviously biased.

<..Charthead would be more accurate...>

Well, I know you often discuss charting, but IMO, if you were a technical trader, you certainly wouldn't have been in Amati through the periods you were there as an owner/pro-poster. So I'll compromise to a "charting cheerhead".

<..Don't let me sway you, Steve...>

Like many, I am swayed when given compelling reason.

But you can look forward to my approach of once someone clearly crosses the line of reasonable, honest, intelligent discussion, I step away from the exchange with them.

Steve
