I have not seen any reasoning for why the JCPA makes a nuclear Iran more likely let alone inevitably leads to it. Nor have I seen you argue any suggested approach that Trump might take that would provide denuclearization assurance. Without "showing your work," as they used to say on math tests, how is one supposed to consider someone's assertion more than a half-baked notion? This is a point worthy of discussion, IMO. I've not really argued it makes it more likely because I believe Israel will not allow it, even if we had another weak president after this term. But here is why it creates the problem: 1. We know, with 100% certainty, that they did not comply with the agreement in getting rid of their nuclear materials. Only because Israel's intel was strong enough to go in there and cart it out. 2. aljazeera.com 3. HEU (20%) is not needed for power production. It is needed for weapons. The Clinton regime was sure that NK would create nuclear weapons yet here we are. I know both of us want off of this subject and I have stuff going on that keeps me from posting when I want to. However, I do trust that Trump will do everything in his power to eliminate Iran's bomb-making threat. This is essential because a nuclear armed Iran will create persistent instability in the region until a war becomes essential. I also think Israel will take those weapons out first, but there is always the chance Israelis, who are softening up almost daily, might dump Netanyahu. Obama made Iran a very serious threat, as of only a few years from now. There isn't much time to solve the problem. Anyone who thinks they aren't working on nuclear weapons now is extremely naive. That they're not spinning down HEU at this moment offers little security in my mind.
