I answered one of their surveys as follow-up to a purchase. Told them they should place an order with Amazon to see what good packaging looks like.

As you say, they are trying to fill from local stores instead of warehouses. Just won't work efficiently. Unless they change this to warehouses they will fail.

From our point of view, the thing to do is to request items and see where they are going to come from. If the local store doesn't have them it will delay delivery, so change order or expect to wait. If it's a pickup order they will change the pickup location to a store that has the item. So change the brand or item to one the local store has.

If you have a question about an order, call the number I listed at the top. One thing that does work is that the people on the phone are good. They will try to help you. Sometimes they don't know the answer but they try.

They are trying to do an internet operation with retail people at the top. This guarantees failure if they don't change it. They need better quality people who are not stuck with Walmart thinking.

I hope it works out for me. I'd miss AZs options and format, but I moved out of KC and the Seattle area because I'm opposed to their heavy handed taxation methods. And I know it's only $20. It's the principle of the thing. I do not wish to be a contributor to Seattle's "head tax." Hoping to be able to buy at least 80% of my on line purchases from WMT. (I don't buy clothing or shoes on line.)
