Jane: I heard Paul Crouse say on TBN Monday evening that 1998 is a year of Jubilee, recognized as such by the traditional Jewish calender. From a prophetic view, my question centered around the point of the return of Christ in a Jubilee or Sabbatical year. Couple this with whether or not the return of Christ signals God's grace or His judgement. My own feeling is that God's signal is to satan because the return of Christ sets in motion the prophetic events that will lead eventually to the casting of satan in the lake of fire. Salvation, even if you believe in a post tribulation rapture, which I do not, still is available during the tribulation. The penalty to pay may be the loss of one's life, however that is infinitely better than the loss of one's soul. Actually I should say the cost to pay, Christ already paid the penalty.
