The Chinese company, ZTE, was sanctioned for trading with and supplying US technology to Iran and North Korea. Now the Puppet has ordered the Commerce Dept to lift the sanctions quickly for no good reason. If he's serious about cracking down on Iran, who intervene in a company that helps Iran.

Furthermore, the intelligence community and the US military has warned that ZTE is a security risk.

The heads of the NSA, FBI & CIA are concerned that ZTE may be using their technology to spy on US consumers. The Commerce Dept banned exports to ZTE because it repeatedly violated U.S. sanctions limiting exports of U.S. technology to #Iran & #NorthKorea.

President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast. Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!

Is it supposed to be Make China Great Again?

Sooooooo just a reminder that ZTE paid $1.19bn in penalties for busting US sanctions to sell US technology to Iran and North Korea in violation of IEEPA last year https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/zte-corporation-agrees-plead-guilty-and-pay-over-4304-million-violating-us-sanctions-sending

ZTE Corporation Agrees to Plead Guilty and Pay Over $430.4 Million for Violating U.S. Sanctions by Sending U.S.-Origin Items to Iran

ZTE not only violated the Iran sanctions, they gave sensitive American technology to hostile regimes, and lied about it. Now Trump is going to bat for them. Remember, the Steele memos said: Trump has "extensive corrupt business ties to China involving large bribes and kickbacks."
