That is a perfect example of how you think. You take extraneous ideas and weave them together into your reality. You do not have a clear picture of reality. So you use whatever you think you know and then gestalt a reality that in "reality" is nothing more than a made up reality.

This has been common human behavior for all of history. That is where all the myths the world believes in that have no bases in fact comes from. Humans believed all sorts of things that only modern science showed us were not true e.g. bleeding patients, spirits (very common), kings appointed by gods, or the thousands of religious beliefs explaining our existence in the face of our knowing we evolved.

Just take a close look at the beliefs of the uneducated around the world throughout history. Every major culture thought women were inferior, being gay was an abomination and crimes of heresy and apostasy were the rule. In fact their entire reality was a foundation of myths that science has shown are not true.

Modern science gave us the humanity and civilization we see today. Until just the last few years humans believed all sorts of things that science has shown are simply not true. Women could not vote in this country until 1919 and we had legal segregation until 1964. Think of how barbaric and primitive those two ideas are!

The Republicans carry on this tradition of ignorance and why only 6% of scientists are Republican and why they have always failed so miserably at governing. Trump and the pubs today provide a perfect example of their ignorance in the majority belief evolution an global warming are wrong.

You are also carrying on the tradition of ignorance, in fact you are a reliable foot solider. Almost everything you post is a composite of ignorance.

>>If Obama signed on to a bad deal then so did many other countries including Germany and France and UK.

Yeah, well, there’s nothing new about that. Ever heard of the League of Nations? Chamberlain's appeasement or Munich? The United Nations?

There are plenty examples of multiple countries signing on to stupid ideas and that we (the US) would be better off without,
