If what Mr. Shrake says is true (and I see no reason to doubt it), that Mr. Phillips told him there is no basis to this "rumour", then this guy "John Smith" is clearly a sleazeball taking a cheap shot. But the cost of legal activity would outweigh any revenge, better just to debunk it on the thread, imho.
