Re -- This makes the ramp up of 0.25 riskier. ..

Any takers on the odds of AMD having a successful .25 transition?

Also why haven't they been able to produce 300 MHz parts at their .25u SDC facility.

James, ALL, Other interesting points from the conference call:
1. Submicron Lab in Sunnyvale can process 2000 wafers per week and half of that is being used for 0.25. This is twice the capacity that I thought they had.
2. "Chompers" intro is second quarter not first quarter
3. Something was said about there being fewer "wet process steps" in the 0.25 micron process than in the 0.35
4. Yield problems had nothing to do with local interconnect, the term "defect driven yields" was used
5. Vantis is not for sale
6. IBM is only packaging die, not producing them
