Jeff, just depends on your time frame and needs. If you want to keep your money invested, I can think of no other place or no other stock that looks better than WinStar for at least the next year. And probably for the next 3 to 5 years. Why make a plan to sell at 50 if you don't need the money and will just have to reinvest it. WinStar will continue on to 200 and whatever else you buy will go down or up 20% a year. So I don't even think about selling it. Most likely, as long as there is a WinStar I will own it, at least for the next five years, or unless something totally unforeseen happens. Doesn't mean I won't trade it or play it as the situation dictates though.

If you want to guess price targets, I guess:
Still pulling for 35 this week.
45 in April
60 by year end
200 in 5 years

Looks like you're new to SI and the WinStar thread. Welcome.

Steve

Jeff,
Seems like a great stock. However unlike a lot of people on this board I feel free to buy and sell this stock. This stock will not go from here to 200 without bouncing up and down just like every other stock in the world.
$30 was hard to break through and the 29ish price had been a good point to sell. I might sell covered calls in the not so distant future.
Something silly that actually kind of seems to work is wait til the volume of shares traded slows down and the number of bullish posts on this board is high. Then sell covered calls.
No this isn't a proven method. But it has worked.
My prediction is:
With good news....$50 to $60 within three months.
With average or no news $26 to $28 within 3 weeks.

And the only thing I know for sure about stocks is that nobody knows. So take the sure thing if you can. Right now that looks to be a high premium on covered calls.
Just guessing.
