Ed - I would venture a guess that the Asian instability might give us some more bad days on the markets in January and maybe some more down days to get on board. Its dark and cold in the NWT yet, and usually not much action by anyone up there until mid-February.
Southernera usually doesn't gear up the NWT program until later, but Bert Applegath is usually out in front with his loyal following.

I'd be pretty surprised but absolutely delighted if this gold trend headed straight up to $350 bucks an oz without stop and carried some of these juniors along out of their tax loss sold stupor.

Keep an eye on Chesbar, there was a 49000 bid for a while this morning. If gold keeps heading up, this one may go quite quickly to the $1.50 mark where Barrick have the offer to buy more shares at $1.50 or the then market price whichever is greater!
