BC, the one thing ObamaCare did accomplish was vastly lower the number of uninsured. This was accomplished by greatly expanding Medicaid and other subsidies to those who couldn't otherwise afford insurance. This is the part of ObamaCare that keeps it around, even though said subsidies have done nothing to reduce costs like Obama originally promised. Republicans are challenged to come up with an alternative, and they can't. Even "nothing" isn't a viable alternative, because of the prospect of going back to the days where there were many uninsured voters. Tenchusatsu
