She bought for under 300k(998') 6 years ago and sold in Nov. for 520k and moved to Coeur D'elene. Bought an acre in a nice clean subdivision with a 2,600' main home, 2,000' guest house, 3 car garage, 2 barns and an outbuilding for 460k, taxes $3,200/year. When she bought in OC I was joking about the river park being a great place for serial killers to dump victims. Since she's been there the homeless moved in and took over. Screaming and fights all night, drugs everywhere. One guy had a hatchet put through his head right across the road from her home which overlooks the Park. Other just plain murders. Non stop domestic and drug fights. The homeless would come in her yard, use the the hose to wash up and do their laundry and dry it out on her fence. Cops did nothing. She could hardly believe someone would buy her place but a lady did and another born n raised calif girl is gone and not looking back. I know here in Kona the homeless are everywhere. They took over the oceanfront park(pretty much our only park) and the parents had to quit taking kids down there. Too many needles on the ball fields....homeless screaming at kids having birthday parties("You're in MY house! Get the FU*K OUTA HERE!" Homeless took over our only municipal pool, businesses had to hire security and add steel reinforced locked doors to bathrooms. They're very bold. I tried a couple times to hire pan handlers but they just laughed. Why work when i can make $200 day holding up a sign? At my old office downtown we had outside stairs in a 3 story bldg. One we came to work and found out two homeless prostitutes that were sleeping on the 3rd floor had got pissed at their pimp over drugs and threw him off the side. he landed on the stone wall outside our window on his back. help wheelchair but he managed to survive. Homeless sounds like a real tear jerker thing, and it can be when it's a working family that can't afford rent. But the vast majority....not so much.
