Linda, thanks for the Clik! link. I particularly liked reading

"We dropped the voltage supply to 3.3 volts and reduced power consumption because most portable consumer electronics run off a pair of AA or AAA cells. We also made the drive more rugged and it will now withstand the same extremes of mechanical durability and temperature as the devices themselves."

Clik! partners include Kodak, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Motorola and Texas Instruments. Hitachi will build Clik! into future versions of its MPEG and JPEG digital cameras.

Re RoRo's recent rantings: where is that "Mark as Bozo and Delete" button when you need it?

Linda -- Nice find on the Aussie Click! article. The Popar Science article cited in an early post is very nice also. Seems we are starting to see more media exposure on it.

If Clik! is just a vapor-hype product which will never see the light of day, IOM mangement must have a huge death wish in continuing to roll out media exposure to it around the world. And, they keep listing all these huge companies as partners in the Clik! program. The Roy Boys will be in deep stuff when the legals at those places find out how their names are being linked to a scam. (Maybe a bear or two here could speed up the process by informing those companies about how IOM is soiling their good names?)

Don't see where Emerald's earning projections include anything for new products. Just as well.

>> "Clik! will change that. It's a convergence product that will link all your personal devices together in a very big way." <<

Didn't there used to be someone around here who was always posting about *convergence stuff*?

(Tom C., I view the Clik! *!* as a graphic enhancement, not as a punctuation mark <g>)
