Yes. With vendors and products the test is usually "head and shoulders" better. If your product isn't at least that much better, it hardly pays to even look.

If you are comfortable with your office suite (MS office, Corel. Lotus), for example, think how much better another has to be just to get you to look into switching. Minor bells and whistles just aren't
worthwhile switching corporate wide. You just give the specific user who needs something different, whatever they need - if they can justify it.
