A conservative Republican foreign policy expert and academic who worked for Nixon, Ford, and Reagan. en.wikipedia.org In Trumpworld, America's law enforcement and intelligence agencies are the enemy conspiring against a man they know to be a conman and crook with no loyalties beyond his families wealth and his own malignant narcissism. ----------------------------------------- The Republican party is now formally at war with the United States criminal justice system and the critical agencies (CIA, FBI, DOJ, NSA) who protect the United States from enemies foreign and domestic. Along the way they are trying to convince Americans that the DOJ and the FBI and the CIA and all sitting judges are a bunch of Democrats who are in it to get more Democrats elected. This of course is in direct contradiction of the facts in which the leadership of these agencies are Republicans, and judge after judge is a Republican appointee. Even more damaging, Republican lawmakers are at war with the entire notion of criminal justice. Any Republican in the country can now use Trump's excuse if they are accused of a crime: the corrupt DOJ and FBI are out to get them, and thus they are not guilty never mind the facts.
