You little cynic you - eric.

Ask the oilies - they seem pretty happy. We are very comfortable working there - so a couple of other minerlas companies had a few problems with contracts to manage aging state assets - I would have given them the medal of valour for taking on this task - they have more courage than I and credit to them naturally.

I do not want to be cynical but take a look at Canada from the perspective of the foreign investor - and think about the size and ramifications of the BREX fraud. Canada will retain a very important role in providing finance for the domestic and international mining companies - after a little legislative reorganisation fo example the nationalisation of the Eric Charter web site.

Kazakstan has enormous mineral wealth as you are aware. Re your comments on copper I would remind you that there is currently a proposal to construct a very large railway east - to west oris that west- to east ? across the country - into china which does consume a small amount of copper which it currenlty pays for with hard currency - so there is a ready market for as much copper as Kazakstan can produce.
