In my "long version" discussion of Zharkova's work I finish with the reminder that her estimates are based solely on solar influences. The Earth's magnetic pole movement (probable flip) changes things drastically (since magnetic pole flips are pretty drastic in and of themselves).

Her main concern was to map out climate variability going forward using the in phase/out of phase cycle the Sun experiences due to the minor frequency differences in normal 11 year cycle polarity reversal of the Sun's North and South Hemispheres.

The amount of variability is set to increase greatly so weather extremes will be the norm for several years.

Add the weakening magnetosphere and throw that into the "extreme" mix.
