The story, as told by a close friend of the Tabby, is that Sun's West Coast sales reps
"overcommitted" Sun's support for Veritas' high-availability software and other
programs. After the IT group shelled out big bucks for a high-level support contract
based primarily on that commitment, Sun's East Coast techies said Sun didn't really
support the configuration as planned. The reps also overstated their tight relationship
with Lotus/IBM--they couldn't even get a Lotus technician on site to help with the
Notes install. Unfortunately for Sun, the server room is just down the hall from Rumor
Central.

Given that they already have Solaris drivers for many of the common PCI graphics boards (albeit on x86) it just seems to me it won't be a big deal to get them working on Darwin, should that be an issue. JMHO.
