Jason Miller, also a former Trump campaign aide, revealed last year that he fathered a child with Delgado during the campaign. President Trump reached an agreement with the Justice Department Monday to have the agency’s inspector general probe his claims of FBI wrongdoing and bias against him in the Russia probe. That agreement came one day after Trump tweeted that he would demand the department probe whether his campaign was infiltrated or surveilled by the Obama administration for “political purposes.” Trump had met with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats to discuss his demand for the probe on Monday. The department referred the matter to Inspector General Michael Horowitz shortly after Trump’s tweet on Sunday. Trump has previously alleged that an FBI informant was embedded in his campaign and that the agency sought to spy on the campaign for political purposes. He made the claims after reports that the informant had met with former Trump campaign advisers George Papadopoulos, Carter Page and Sam Clovis. thehill.com
