<Compaq greases the DSL skids> Impressive company, far reaching strategy. I'll note, however, that CPQ bought Microcom as a key element in their strategy. My former ISP, and I'll reiterate, former ISP used Microcom hdwe. It stank badly! Connections unreliable, lots of problems. The CPQ name can sell lousy hardware, however, their choice of Microcom for an acquisition is quite underwhelming. I wouldn't give a great deal of concern to CPQ as a threat to ASND.
