Fellow Cymerians:

Lets look at these hypothetical events and ask ourselves a question:

Its a brite, sunny Feb 2nd morning in Southern California.

At 11:00am EST INTEL is up 15 since an outstanding earnings release and impressive announcements at their conference call a few weeks back.

CYMER announced great numbers for earnings and beat all estimates. In addition, forcasts for the year look outstanding and everthing is on track for 600 light bulbs this year.

Asian panic under control... things starting to turn around.

You click on Internet Explorer before rushing to the meeting that you know you will have trouble staying awake in and... there it is in black and white:

DJIA UP 120.25
NAS UP 32.75

CYMI 16 1/4 +1/8 241,200

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Now, if this is the case; can anyone tell me they would continue to stick around? Would you wait for the next earnings statement? I just can't justify it. I'm starting to think I'm holding on for the sake of pride...and that has to be wrong.

On the brink,

Chris

Maxwell RE: Intel and SVGL
I know that Fab 11 in N.M. is not using the Micrascan III with the
Cymer laser. Because of Intel's "Copy Exactly" philosophy on
process transfers that impacts tool selection and fab design I
would imagine that the Micrascan II QML is used in the other 0.25um
fabs as well. I don't know that for sure though.

I don't work for Intel, but alot of my friends do.
