I get the impression that Dave is something like 90 or 100 years old. He just might not have the energy, nor the money if this is typical of his investments over the last half-century. I also get the impression that he has a whole crowd of people who followed his advice to buy-and-baghold (which might be what he really means by calling himself "a large investor"), so he might already be at the start of years of legal problems himself.
