Agememnon--The funds do it. I had it explained to me by a friend that worked for one. I still have the letter he sent explaining it and how some of the market 'forces' operate. It can leave one with a cynical attitude (though very realistic I suspect). Long term the fundamentals will make themselves known, though short term some wicked moves can occur and be orchestrated.
