Looks like our friend Kurlak out-smarted himself this time. He was looking for .86...and got bonked. Let him chase Intel for a while.
I say there was a leak yesterday. Very suspicious.

You might want to contain that euphoria...

Of the $0.08 above expectations, $0.05 was due to NON-CORE BUISNESS RELATED ACTIVITIES. TAX RATES AND SHARE BUY-BACK.

$0.04 was due to lower tax rate and $0.01 due to share buy-back.

Also, revenue growth year over year by quarter is declining...

Y over Y
REVENUE GROWTH
-------------------------------
Q196 to Q197 38.8%
Q296 to Q297 29.0%
Q396 to Q397 19.7%
Q496 to Q497 1.0%

BTW, I hung on to my shares and now look to sell into any strength...

Paul, Re:

<< I am "internalizing" my euphoria.

On days like this, I go buy some more more wood and woodworking equipment. >>

I can see you are not just show, but a man of deep thoughts.

Long on Intel and Iomega

I suggest you get some sticks of IOM too. Blowout earnings
can be expected next week.
