From the beginning, it was all a house of cards. An assortment of Trump campaign aides were set up to engage in behaviors that were then used to make the case for Russian collusion. The behaviors became part of the dossier. The dossier was used to get the FISA warrants.

It was all a set-up done to manufacture evidence that Mueller could use to build the case for collusion. It's looking like other intelligence agencies were involved. In fact, it may develop that it all began with Brennan, as director of the CIA, and the FBI got pulled in secondarily.

That is what the Trump defenders always do, try to minimize whatever the malefactor under discussion did on the campaign. Sure, the idea of flying an intern all over Europe would be strange.

But not a national security advisor.
