Yeah, I've been watching the gas prices in Vancouver. You guys are in a tough spot. I have to burn premium in my older car, and that just hit 3 bucks/gallon U.S. in some parts of my metro area.

If you are seriously looking for a work-a-round, as you indicated, don't forget to look for cooking oil waste from past food places. I understand it works pretty well, though you will smell like French fried potatoes wherever you go.

Hmmm, I wonder if you add some vinegar if the odor will become more like fish 'n chips? I'd like that better.

I've worked with a few fellows that put jet fuel and stove oil in their diesel vehicles, they just used ATF as an aditive
