I don't chase buy stocks at all time highs.

However I do try to remain objective if I can see a stock moving up higher over time. I only wish I had taken 1 million shares of Nflx at 4 or 4 Million dollars to sit on it cuz my simple brain could see the equivalent of 2100 dollars a share 14 years later to be worth 2.1 Billion on a 4 million investment.

Of course to do that one would have had to be able to see OUT into the future and HOLD during some wild deep swings and lots of noise.

So back to your statement. YUP it's not wise to buy at all time highs. Yet there are exceptions.
