Big 2 page write up today in the Detroit Free Press. TLC (The Laser Center) opens its Detroit Office (Troy, Michigan). In it Dr. Anthony Sensoli (Medical Director of TLC's Troy Office) states, LASIK will be the procedure of choice as time goes on). In addition, Dr. Michael Wallace (Director of TLC's Farmington Hills Office) states, "Insurance usually does not cover the surgery, but that is changing". Overall, it was a very positive story and also bullish for BEAM and VISX shareholders....Now, if only the procedure was approved for insurance purposes-these stocks would fly, yes, even the LVCs, Yosid. However, Dr. Raymond Margherio (Chairman of Ophthalmology at william Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI) did state, "Competition, not unlike taste and price wars among fast-food chains and car dealership is likely to come to eye surgery, but that is good, it gives consumers choices"...Pappy

I'll address that. When friends, relatives and colleagues see and hear the genuine enthusiasm of people like me whom are now 20/20 miracles no other advertising is really necessary. Believe me- word is spreading. Lens Express is also a great target vehicle for, if you will,
"laser" advertising and radio spots will get the customers to the nearest LCAV address. Own both BEAM and VISX (and of course now LCAV) and can clearly see a great future for all. Just wish they could stop squabbling-it only confuses people and delays some peoples' decision to do something that will literally change their lives!
