Jim, about Compaq's MediaGX notebook

I re-checked their press release and they said
it would be 1999 (32MB/2GB/CD-ROM). The
latest Dell price is 2599 for a 200 MMX + 12" SVGA
TFT.

Want to bet if Compaq's offer would include a TFT ?

So who is going to buy this 1999 product ?

Gary

Wow, Ron Insana on CNBC quotes the Reuters article, saying, "but analysts said some negative things on Intel's earnings, and will most likeky see a lower opening" Man, a few bearish analysts get the visibility, when the vast majority were very pleased. Oh well we'll see.
