Seems like a lot of work, for little reward, when someone can stab a stick through the meat and cook it over an open flame with a lot less waste of firewood..

However, at the end of the video, there was a bit of synchronicity for me as just the other day my Aunt and I were discussing this clump of bamboo like weeds that used to grow in our backyard..

For the life of me I couldn't figure out what it's called, but I distinctly remember it from my childhood and how I use to play around with it, making "lincoln log" forts and little canoes out of it.
And then this guy, out of the blue, discusses it in his video..

My father spent years trying to kill it off, but it would keep popping up.. until finally he was successful.

Japanese Knotweed.. Don't think I'll ever forget it now.. ;)
