There isn't a reason for them to patriotic. When the economy collapsed they didn't work with Obama to fix it. They spent eight years hating him and Democrats. When we consider them our equals we lose. They've never been good people and we need to point it out over and over. McCarthyism. Watergate, Iran/Contra, WMDs, torture etc. Good people don't vote for criminals.
